Owners: how to take listing photos that get booked

Owners: how to take listing photos that get booked

On Drivego, listings with clear, recent photos get far more requests than the others. No need for a professional camera: your phone and twenty minutes are enough.

Choose the light

Shoot outdoors, in the morning or late afternoon, when the light is soft. Avoid midday sun, which creates harsh reflections, and dark car parks.

Clean first

A quick wash and a vacuum make a real difference. Remove everything from the dashboard, the seats and the boot: renters want to imagine their own trip.

The shots that matter

  1. Three-quarter front view: your cover photo, the one shown in the search results.
  2. Side view and three-quarter rear view.
  3. The dashboard and the front seats.
  4. The rear seats and the boot, open, to show the space.
  5. Any equipment worth highlighting: roof bars, child seat, bike rack.

Be honest

Show a visible scratch rather than hiding it: renters trust a listing that matches the car they find at the handover, and it protects you when you check the car at return.

Once your photos are ready, add them from your listing in a few clicks. You can change the order at any time to put the best one first.
